Please remember that your STEP System will NOT OPERATE without power. If you do not have a generator for your system you will need to greatly restrict your use of water to prevent your tank from filling up and backing up into your home. Greatly restrict the use of dishwashers and washing machines, take quick showers, avoid baths, and minimal flushing of toilets.

The District generators are for the main lift stations, but if your STEP system cannot get it to the lift station due to loss of power, problems can occur.

Loss of power is not something our District staff can restore, so do not call the emergency number as there is nothing that can be done until power is restored.
