FLOODING AND SEPTIC ISSUES

Mother Nature has hit Spring Lake full force! All four of our pumps are in operation and staff is traveling the District to help monitor flooded areas. Floral and Spring Lake Blvd. entrances are already closed.  Canals and ponds are above their normal levels and it will take time for the pumps to lower those levels. The County will be posting signs and re-routing traffic in critical areas.

Ground water can seep into your septic system and if you experience issues be sure to have your plumber come out after the storm to inspect your tank and drain it, if necessary.

This is a very severe event  but we have the system in place to drain the stormwater out of the District. It will take a few days for the swales and drainage ditches to drain into the canals and ponds, but it will recede.

Have patience, help others when you can, and know that we are working with the County as best we can.
