District News

*Our sincere sympathy to the family of Monica Griffith on her passing this week. Monica was known by many, and was the leading force for the establishment of the Bark Park and the Pawsitively Dog Club. Memorial gifts can be made in her name for the Bark Park, call the District Office for details. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

*The June issue of The Breeze will arrive at the end of the month.

*Lots of social media articles and comments about the Golf Resort, and the meetings being conducted by owner Joel Schachter. There is still a lot of information to be gathered by District staff, and this issue will NOT be on the June 17 Board agenda for any type of discussion.

*The environmental study has been completed at Arbuckle Creek Park, and a permit will be issued to install the bathroom. Once constructed, the Park will be reopened. Thank you for your patience. This will be an amazing amenity for our residents.

*Current Supervisors Phil Gentry and Troy Marsh were the only candidates who filed this past week at the Board of Elections for the two seats available on the Board. Therefore, with no opposition, there will be no names on the November ballot for Spring Lake Supervior.
