Circuit Judge Heather Beato issued a FINAL JUDGEMENT in favor of Spring Lake in the lawsuit the Sebring Airport filed against the District. As a reminder, the Airport refuses to pay their fair share in using our stormwater system, and are adamant that our residents pay the full cost. All the courts rulings have admonished this position.

The Airport has until November 17th to ask for a rehearing, and can file an Appeals Court request up to December 1st. Given the history of their arrogance and entitlement we will not be surprised if they appeal and spend more tax money to convince the courts that our residents should pay the Airport's financial responsibility.

On another note, the District Office will be closed on Monday, November 10, in observance of Veterans Day.
